January 1
Took our first photo together in 2010 right after midnight
Met at Houlihan’s for some yummy-as-usual food, indulged in my favorite pitcher of raspberry Long Island all to myself. When you dined at Houlihan’s in December they gave you a card to bring back and reveal a prize. We got $10 off, which was pretty sweet!
Then off to Avatar in 3D with a bunch of people from work.
Movie was of course epic; I found it visually stunning, but the storyline was just so-so. Highlight to the movie? Me feeling something stuck in my leggings, and after working it down from my thigh to my calf extracting what I discovered was a black rhinestone that fell off of my underwear. It was a little ridiculous. :) Afterward we hung out at Steak ‘n Shake—I was dying for a big Mr. Pibb. Highlight to that excursion? John K. talking about the “goddamn whipped cream” on his milkshake.
January 2
Wanted to make an extra effort to be productive, so I got up and started purging my clothes. I got together 2 garbage bags of stuff for the Salvation Army, plus washed a bunch of things I had forgotten about.
Then we went to the city and had dinner at Wildfire with Neeta & Raj for a joint birthday dinner. Afterward we hung out at their place for awhile and didn’t get home til late. Neeta got me a really awesome green headband/ear warmer for my birthday!
January 3
Continued the theme of purging and cleaning and organizing by bringing up ALL OF MY BOOKS from the basement and putting them on bookshelves in the spare room. It was so enjoyable to get that done, and I love looking at all of my books!!

January 4
When I got to work Ryan wanted to learn how to juggle, so we spent quite a bit of time in the back of the cafe practicing with tennis balls. :)
After doing my data entry I went back to work and had a very satisfying and sweaty workout… I got the last elliptical! The gym was swarmed with resolution-ers.
